Karen Shapcott has spent years developing her skills as a fiber artist. From the spinning of wool off our sheep, to felting, to the weaving of fine fabrics - she knows her craft.
In recent years, she has devoted her energies to the art of needlefelting. This entails taking natural wool and with special needles drawing the fibers together to create the art piece. Karen especially enjoys making fiber sculptures, wall hangings and wearable art.
